Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of LifeLedger. By creating an account or using LifeLedger, you agree to these Terms.

1. What LifeLedger provides

LifeLedger is an organization tool designed to help users track reminders and everyday information such as returns, subscriptions, bills, appointments, warranties, gift cards, renewals, purchases, and deadlines. Some features may use connected services, including Gmail, to suggest information for your review.

2. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that occurs through your account. You should notify LifeLedger if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Gmail connection

Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect Gmail, you authorize LifeLedger to access the Google data described on the Google consent screen and in our Privacy Policy. LifeLedger's Gmail feature is intended to identify possible reminders and purchases; automated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on or importing them.

4. Your responsibility for reminders

LifeLedger is a convenience tool and should not be your only source for time-sensitive, financial, legal, medical, travel, contractual, or other important obligations. Dates, amounts, message classifications, alerts, and reminders can be missed, delayed, or incorrect. You remain responsible for checking original documents, emails, bills, appointments, policies, and other authoritative sources.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use LifeLedger to violate law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, abuse connected services, or use the service in a way that infringes the rights of others.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep LifeLedger available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

7. Third-party services

LifeLedger may interact with third-party services such as Google and hosting providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. LifeLedger is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.

8. Intellectual property

LifeLedger's software, branding, design, and service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of LifeLedger's intellectual property to you. You retain rights in information you provide to the service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, LifeLedger is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that suggestions, extracted information, reminders, or notifications will always be accurate or delivered on time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LifeLedger and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from missed deadlines, incorrect suggestions, service interruptions, or reliance on information generated by the service.

11. Termination

You may stop using LifeLedger at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or comply with law, including for material violations of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the service or by another reasonable method. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
